REPORT: Angry Jose Mourinho Sacks Two Manchester United Players

Jose Mourinho may not have gotten some of his targets in this transfer window, his squad remains one of the largest in the Premier League.

According to ESPN, the Special One has told Matteo Darmian and Marcos Rojo that they are free to leave the club before the close of the transfer window.

Man United signed Diogo Dalot as their only defensive addition at the club this summer and they were linked with a move for Toby Alderweireld and Harry Maguire.

Dalot is viewed as a long-term successor for Antonio Valencia, who has been the makeshift right fullback at the club for some years now, leaving Darmian with no hope of whatsoever to lace his boots for the Red Devils.

Darmian arrived Man United in the summer of 2015 from Seria A side Torino and he was a mainstay in the United squad during the rein of Luis Van Gaal.

The 28-year-old Italy international managed to feature in eight Premier League games last season and he has been heavily linked with a move to Juventus. Even though he featured in the pre-season games, it is a matter of time before he completes a move away from the club.

Meanwhile, Rojo was on the sidelines for the most part of last season due to an injury – however, he has always given a good account of himself whenever he is called upon to play. Phil Jones has been calamitous and it is surprising to hear that Mourinho has sanctioned a move for Rojo.

United will have to wait until the January transfer window to bolster their squad, for Rojo, they should wait until that time to sell him methinks.
